With over 30 years of experience in industrial transportation roles across operations, sales, and engineering, Sean has served in executive leadership roles at the Rail Group for The Andersons as Vice President & General Manager and FreightCar America Inc, Vice President of Operations.

In his most recent position, Sean served as Chief Commercial Officer of American Industrial Transport, Inc (AITX) where he managed customer growth and relationships for sales and marketing, as well as fleet management for a leasing platform of over 50,000 railcars across all affiliates.  

Sean has a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from the Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania. He was also a practicing professional engineer in Pennsylvania from 2003 until 2013.  His most recent endeavor was becoming a certified executive coach.

“I’m quite aware of the railcar leasing business is a very small world. I would like our customers to view ARS as an experienced partner that will find solutions with their railcar needs whether that that means railcar evaluations or being the lessor.  Being a small operation, I try to work with the customers to find solutions that are many times overlooked by larger firms. I have extensive experience with railcar maintenance and how these costs can affect the bottom line of any operation.
